Merle's Food and Drink is located off of Highway 6 or otherwise known as West O. We are 7 minutes from downtown Lincoln and serve amazing food.

Merle's is well known for its Prime Rib! Other favorites include our grilled walleye, burgers, and fried chicken.

A Little Bit of History

The establishment where Merle's sits has been a restaurant/bar since the early 1900s. The first alcoholic beverage was served back in the early 1920s.

In 1959, Merle and Jo Wilken purchased the building and gave Merle's its name. They ran the business until 1976 when it was purchased by Daniel and Elizabeth Lynch.

The Lynch family has owned the establishment since, having come a long way since serving beer for 65 cents a bottle the year they opened it.

Their son Benjamin currently helps run the restaurant
